CRT 4434

Go ahead 4434.
10-17 to the girls' dorms.
10-4.

So this auxiliary police thing was a smidge more overwhelming than I had anticipated, but nothing I (think I) can't handle. The obvious pictures I'm being heckled for will be up shortly, in the meantime, you'll just have to settle for the biggest battle I've had in recent memory. It was almost all I ate from Tuesday to Friday. And I made it myself...if by "made" you mean "took it out of the box and put it into the oven", which is more than you should expect from me anyway.

Always Learning

So, somewhere between high school and grad school I missed out on the fact that Halloween is little more than an excuse for girls to wear incredibly slutty outfits without having to deal with the associated taboos. Add anything to an incredibly short skirt (bug antennae, devil horns, etc.), and suddenly it's a "costume". Not that I'm necessarily complaining, mind you, it's just that this has somehow eluded me up until now. I think I know what two things are responsible: Cooper, and NYC. The lack of real women at the school itself was certainly a factor. Not being in a "big college" atmosphere left me with all these new things to learn at grad school.

Walking around University Park last Friday with my roommates, I didn't feel like "it was Halloween". It felt more like "I'm back in the East Village". It's always like that there. Simply another reason I didn't make this association until now.
